WHAT TO EXPECT

When you arrive at Purpose Church, you can walk in and see right away where our kids area is! It is a clean, safe, fun environment where your kids are learning about Jesus on their level!

CHECK-IN

For check-in, we’ll need to know some information about you and your kiddos to ensure that we are able to create the clean, safe, and fun environment we strive for!

CLASSROOMS

To ensure maximum fun, we break our Purpose Kids classrooms into different ages: 0s-2s, 3s-5s, K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th! Purpose Kids is not childcare, it is intentionally pouring into your kids!

If you could time travel, wouldn’t you be tempted to jump ahead and catch glimpse of your future? ⏭️This week, we heard about how Ezekiel‘s vision of a valley filled with dry bones 🦴 helped him understand God‘s incredible power and presence. 🔋Through this vision, God reminded Ezekiel – and us – that we don’t need to see the future of faith difficult moments because God is with us at all times. 🕰️

Have you ever wanted to speed up time to get to the good parts? ⏲️This week, we heard God’s message to the prophet Jeremiah about a challenging time that would help Israel and Judah like clay pots. 🏺While they might have wished they could fast-forward through their discomfort, God used this story to shape them and to show us that God takes the time to forgive. ♥️

This week, we learned about how God shows us what is good in a message to the prophet Micah. 🤟 With time travel, we’d never need to worry about losing what’s important because we could just jump back to the moment we lost it. ⏳This week, we heard how the prophet Micah helped his community remember how God rescued them and showed them compassion. ♥️ His words not only helped people reflect on powerful stories, but they showed an important truth—**God is good all the time.** ⏰

This week, we heard God’s message to the prophet Isaiah about how to worship. ✨ Don’t you sometimes want a time machine to skip past all the chores and routines? This week, we heard how God’s message to the prophet Isaiah showed people that their acts of worship were more like empty routines. Isaiah reminded them that loving God wasn’t about just going through the motions but rather daily actions because we can seek God any time! ❤️‍🔥

GOD’S LOVE IS TIMELESS

This week, we learned about how much God’s people are loved through the prophet Hosea. If we could time-travel, a lot of us would go back in time to send ourselves messages to avoid making mistakes. This week, we heard how a prophet named Hosea shared an important message about God’s unfailing love—even when they turned away. Throughout his life, Hosea helped everyone see that God’s love is timeless.

This past Sunday we wrapped up In Your Dreams—but Joseph’s story (and God’s work) didn’t stop when the dreams came true. Even through the ups and downs, God was working behind the scenes to make things right, reuniting Joseph with his family and setting the stage for what came next. This may be the end of our series, but there’s still so much more to discover! 💤💭🌙

Over the past two weeks in PK, we’ve been learning about Joseph! Even when his brothers treated him unfairly and he faced hard times, God never left him. God had a plan for Joseph’s life and was always watching over him. His story reminds us that God loves each of us and is always taking care of us—no matter what.

This week, our space explorers read about Philip in Acts 8:26–40. 🚀 When Philip heard from an angel, he didn’t hesitate to obey. He met an Ethiopian man who didn’t understand the Scriptures, so Philip took the time to explain that they were talking about Jesus!

The man believed, was baptized, and began his journey with Jesus. Take a step—share what you know about Jesus. God may be sending you to help someone take their first step toward Him! 🤟🏻

This week, our space explorers heard the story of Stephen from Acts 6 and 7. 🚀

Stephen was full of the Holy Spirit and chosen to help lead the growing church. But when he stood up for the truth about Jesus, he faced serious opposition—even danger. ⚠️

Still, he didn’t back down. He stayed brave, spoke the truth, and prayed for the people hurting him. Take a giant leap—stand for truth. With the Holy Spirit, we can have courage no matter what. 🕊️

On Sunday, our space explorers saw how Peter and John took another step in Acts 3. ⭐️ They didn’t have silver or gold, but they did have faith—and they prayed in Jesus’ name for a man who couldn’t walk. 🚶🏽‍♂️He was healed, jumped up, and praised God! God can do more than we can on our own. Take another step—pray for others.

This week our space explorers were in Acts 1! ⭐️ Jesus told his disciples he was going to heaven but promised they wouldn’t be alone—he would send the Holy Spirit to help them. 🕊️Even though they didn’t know all the details, they took the first step by believing in Jesus and sharing his story with the world. That one small step of faith became a giant leap for others to know God—and we can take that step too! 🔭

Jesus was innocent, but the crowd chose to set a guilty man free and have Jesus killed. Sometimes we don’t know what to do either, and we choose the wrong thing—but God never gives up on us. Because of Jesus, we’re forgiven and can choose light every day. ✨🙌

What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘light’? What shines it? What reflects it? How does light make you feel? 🌟 Today’s Bible story reminds us that Jesus is the light in our darkness. 💡Just like when we mess up and regret our words, Jesus doesn’t come to punish, but to save and guide us into His light. Let’s draw near to Him and shine bright! ✨

In Luke 16:19–31, the rich man 💰realized too late that he had wasted his life only caring for himself while ignoring those in need, like Lazarus. 😮 Jesus taught that love isn’t just words—it’s action. While we still have the chance, we should follow his example and love others through what we do! ✨

In Matthew 20:1–16, Jesus taught that God’s fairness isn��’t about what we think is fair. The vineyard 🍇 owner was generous to all, just as God gives everyone the chance to experience His love.❣️God’s fairness means welcoming all—now that’s true generosity!

In Matthew 18:23–35, a servant was forgiven a huge debt 💵 he could never repay but refused to forgive someone who owed him much less.⬇️ Jesus used this to show that God forgives our sins—something we can never repay—so we should be kind and forgiving to others. 😁 Forgiveness is a good trend to follow! ��🤝

In Matthew 7:1–5, Jesus used a speck and a plank to show how humans quickly judge others despite their own flaws. Instead of criticizing, he taught humility. Though perfect, Jesus didn’t point out everyone’s mistakes—he befriended the outcasts and put others first. He showed that humility is the best way to live!

WOW! Jesus has the power to SAVE! 🛟

Jesus knew he would soon face death, but to his disciples, that seemed impossible—he was Jesus! He could heal, calm storms, feed thousands, and even walk on water. Surely, he could avoid dying! But Jesus chose not to. He followed God’s plan, sacrificing himself to save the world from sin, proving God’s power is greater—even over death. When we say, “Jesus has the power to save,” it’s not just about a rescue—it’s about saving our souls. Because of Jesus, nothing can separate us from God. And once we’re saved, it’s just the beginning—we get to share his power with others! WOW! 👥

STEM is amazing, but NOTHING compares to the power of JESUS. In John 6:1–15, we learned about Jesus feeding thousands with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish! Jesus is so powerful, he can make something out of almost nothing! His miracle out on that hill defies even math. There is no experiment on this earth, no math equation we can solve, that can explain or imitate the amazing miracles Jesus can do. That's what makes his power so amazing! WOW!

The world of STEM is full of wonders, but none compare to God’s miracles. In Luke 8:22–25, we learned about Jesus and the disciples on a boat in the middle of the storm. While the disciples panicked, Jesus spoke, and the wind and waves obeyed. They forgot that He was with them—greater than any storm! When we’re afraid, we can know that Jesus has the power to calm our fears! WOW!

The world of STEM is full of wonders, but none compare to God’s miracles. In Luke 7:1-10, the centurion’s faith acted like a catalyst—just as catalysts speed up reactions in science. He believed Jesus could heal his servant with just a word, and it happened instantly! Jesus saw his great faith and activated God’s power. WOW!

I CAN INCLUDE PEOPLE WHO AREN’T LIKE ME

This week we talked about “non-traditional” occupations! 📲🗂️⛪️🗣️
Even though these jobs are not what we’d expect, we can appreciate and value them! In Matthew 9:9-13, Jesus met with Matthew, who had an unpopular job as a tax collector. Jesus was different from other people and instead of ignoring Matthew, Jesus offered to have dinner with him. These people didn’t understand the way Jesus loved all kinds of people the same. Jesus loved and accepted everyone the same. Jesus didn’t care what other people thought, he showed God’s love to everyone and left no one out!

I CAN TRUST GOD’S PLANS FOR ME

This week we talked about professions in construction. 🚧 🛠️ 🧰
For anyone who works with building things, having a plan is very important. Jesus showed a group of people that God had plans for them in Mark 1:14-20. Jesus came and interrupted their plans because he had much better plans for them. He told them that instead of fishing for fish, they could follow him and fish for people. That meant they would go with Jesus to tell more people about God. Simon, Andrew, James, and John were among the first to become disciples of Jesus, and they did end up going out to “fish” for more people to follow Jesus, too!

I CAN TRUST JESUS KNOW'S ME

This week we talked about professions in healthcare. 🏥 🩺 ✨
Doctors have to learn about each of their patients and build trust so they can help them through different problems! In John 1:43–51, Jesus Calls Phillip and Nathanael to be his disciples! When Nathanael meets Jesus, he finds out that Jesus already knows him very well. Nathanael knows at once that Jesus is definitely not ordinary. He could only be the Son of God and the one everyone had been waiting for. Nathanael is able to trust Jesus because he sees that Jesus really knows and understands him!

I CAN LISTEN TO GOD'S VOICE 👂

This week talked about professions in the performing arts. 🎨🎭🎬🎤🩰
As performers, even the star of the show has to be able to listen to others. In Mark 1:4–11, we learned about how John the Baptist had to listen to God's voice and did his job of preparing people for Jesus. Because of what he heard from God, he continued to tell others about God’s son, Jesus, who came to be the savior of the world.
